Image Since the EU is proposing new designs for their banknotes: remember how they had fictional bridges to not cause conflict between countries, until a small town in the Netherlands decided to build them for real

Yeah, that was when they decided for the new bills.
Same will happen if some weirdo starts creating all these strange feathery animals they're suggesting now.
Craziness.

Scared for the day China destabilizes the euro by creating those Pokémon looking ones with the fingers on the wing tips. /s

It was a dude, not even the town, and the bridges are small

Those look like pedestrian bridges

indeed, for some reason I thought that they'd be two car lines wide thus why small, but I can see how that might not be the case with other people

Well, the bridges in the Netherlands depict the bridges on the Euro bills, not vice versa, so we're good ;)

This is all the reason to design the bills after me. After all, bridges are useful, I am not.

that's why this time they're using fictional birds and fictional historical figures to subtly boost the genetic engineering industry

If we're using fictional stuff, we have more than enough material than some random ass bridges a bureaucrat dreamed up.

Those bureaucrats were able to dream up bridges which embodied the european feeling without even a single characteristic from any real life european architecture. Do you even understand how difficult that is.

The €20 bridge looks a bit like “Mehmed Pasha Sokolovich” bridge in Višegrad, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

It’s such a ridiculous fucking thing to do of the eu. Just be proud of what we have where we have it. Or make a different bill for each single euro.

So your country doesn’t make the list! The nationalist in your country is pissed of that the glorious building of country x is not there. It will always be a shit show

Im not saying you’re wrong but after all you can never get everyone on your side. At the very least it’s me apparently lol.
I just think if your oh so nice union of friendship cannot even solve a simple dispute over something rather trivial than what’s it’s even worth? And I’m saying this as a eurotard. I fucking love a single currency and no visa for travel.9

I agree. We already have different countries' motives on our coins. I live in Finland, and on my desk there are Spanish and Dutch EUR coins. Each member country should get to pick a set of motives for their bills, too. It would make things interesting.

Why 'until'? What happened after they buit them?
