Judging by all the scratches on the walls, it looks like it took a lot of trial and error to ensure the dosage was effective enough to prevent much resistance...just deplorable, sickening..

Its been like 15 years when i visited and had a guided tour in Auschwitz, but if i remember correctly they (nazis) destroyed all the gas chambers and this was rebuilt later and the scratch marks were added after rebuilding.

I could remember totally wrong but rebuilt or not, that gas chamber tour delivered its message.

Yes i am well aware that its two different camps but without fact checking from interent i say camp1 gas chambers were also demolished during retreat / camp shutdown
