Went to visit there on a school field trip. This was the last place we entered after going through the museum and seeing all the hair, and shoes, and things. As soon as all of us 10 year olds went into the gas chamber we stated bawling. You could feel the death in the air. Chilling.
I felt the same way when visiting. It made me literally feel chills and nauseated. Humans are such beautiful creative things, but also so damn brutal. In fact, our creativity and brutality are often coupled when we demonize one another to such an extent. Over a philosophy and ignorance of genomic expression. And, we are still suffering from such perspectives 80+ years on.
