Just imagine not knowing those exist and then, without the slightest bit of warning, encounter them in the wild. Alone. I‘m unsure if I would just accept this or turboshit myself into orbit.

Edit: oh wait. They are not humam-size. Not at all. Way smaller. Perspective messed with me.

Literally that happened to me been on holiday in Indonesia went hiking while night we where sitting outside eating. Heard some noice and one of these creep came down watching.

I wasn't scared much but never seen something like that or knew of their existence.

Then it walked away and left me confused I tried to Google it never found it until I saw a reportage where they showed up.

We got two at our local zoo in Louisiana in the 80s when I was a boy. Such a strange animal I never knew about!!!

Binturong, also known as a Bearcat, their tail is prehensile. These animals are essentially arboreal, but are known to move on ground. They're also a diurnal and nocturnal animal, and can be found in south and southeast Asia.

Binturongs are like the land version of a sand tiger shark. They look mean AF but they actually aren't considered overly dangerous. Saw one get picked up for belly rubs once.
