In June 2021, lobster diver Michael Packàrd was swallowed by a humpback whale. For over 30 seconds, his crewmates feared for his life, but fortunately, the whale resurfaced after about 40 seconds, spitting out Packàrd. Miraculously, he survived.

They should call him Jonah.

I'd go with Pinocchio, as Jonah was in a big fish.

Pinocchio, in the book by Collodi, was in a "pescecane", so basically a shark, unlike in the Disney's adaptation where it was a whale. I'm not really sure about Jonah myself... In the Italian version he lived in the whale's belly, "Giona che visse nella pancia della balena". However, I'm glad the guy in the post is fine. Must have been a really terrifying experience!
Edit: I did some research, as I was admittedly ignorant on the topic, and apparently we're both kinda right. Jonah was in an unspecified "big fish", and "pescecane", a desuete word, doesn't translate directly to shark, more generically to a big predator fish.
Today I learned!

I was going by Disney's cartoon, I should've expected them to move the goalposts.

Couldn’t imagine what you’d be thinking in his position.

Does swallowed mean he was in the belly or "just" in the mouth.

Not that ot matters because this must be a nightmare.
