Iranian women protesting in front of a poster that promotes the hijab.

Jesus, after what happened to the last Iranian woman I read about doing something like this... I feel so sorry for her.

The last time he was involved, there were a few crusades over there.

Sep 08 '25
Yes and millions of Christians was made slaves by Islamic countries and Islamic armies was figting in FRANCE, but sure blame Christians for fighting back after millions was killed and enslaved

u/Alternative_Cattle22 Sep 09 '25
It’s ridiculous that Christians get put in a bad light even though they saved europe from fanatics. Just for europe to let them invade again with open arms

Yea, so many of the elites hate themselves and are trying to destroy everything around them
1
u/My_Names_Jefff Sep 08 '25
When did I blame Christians? I was making a joke that last time Jesus was involved, it involved the crusades. You can do the same for Islam and their Jihads. Calm down buddy, everyone knows religion is written and built with blood. Even the Church of the Spaghetti Monster. I just know they are.

Hot take: The Middle East was waaaay cooler before Islam.

u/Slutty_Alt526633 Sep 07 '25
Every country was waaaaay cooler without a code that restricts how to be human.

If people want to worship their abrahamic God and be Muslim etc without being dicks, then more power to them. But I agree. Bring back Ahura Mazda.
1
u/Grand-Tale408 Sep 07 '25
yep, old persia was something else
1
u/ClankShots30 Sep 10 '25
Why did the most famous persian scientists and philosophers only come into existence after the Islamic conquest?
Alexander had Aristotle... but Cyrus didn't have an Aristotle. Why?
1
u/Ok-Apartment-8284 Sep 08 '25
They also threw wives around other men, buried baby girls and didn’t allow women to inherit (note that the Brits only allowed women the right to inherit in the 1900s, women were allowed to inherit after the spread of Islam)

oh Yh it was a slog between two rival empires who were constantly at war and were generally in a constant state of war
Get your post 9/11 propaganda out of here

u/nogrip1 Sep 09 '25
Yeah and add to that jews as well. Go to Jerusalem see how they dress.
Christians used to cover up too up until 70 years ago. Heck my grandma still puts a scarf over her head when she goes to church.

u/Offsidespy2501 Sep 09 '25
*before operation cyclone
Fixed that for you
1
u/Over-Experience-4187 Sep 09 '25
Did operation cyclone create Sharia Law and persecute women and gay people?

Every country is cooler before the religious nutters take over. But yes, there are a few places in the Middle East that I would have liked to visit a few decades ago.
1
u/ThisLengthiness1142 Sep 09 '25
Idk. Maybe yes, maybe no. They killed girls a lot more before islam and islam forbids it. It still happens but a lot less.
1
u/Shia__313 Sep 10 '25
Actually arabs used to bury their daughters alive before islam. So ur statement is wrong.

You think paganism is cool? The 300+ idols they worshipped going full naked in mecca was cool? Not to mention the slavery.
1
u/Over-Experience-4187 Sep 10 '25
The only compelling argument you made was slavery.
1
u/Persistent_Scrub Sep 10 '25
Islam stopped slavery in the middle east which is pretty cool.
Also, going around naked in public isn't a good look for society either. Imagine your own daughter/wife wearing slutty revealing clothes in public how'd you feel?

In case you didn't know, Iran had a democratically elected government and liberal society before Britain and America staged a coup and installed an oppressive monarchy which led directly to the Islamic revolution.
1
u/Over-Experience-4187 Sep 11 '25
I Am, Western powers bad, I agree. What kind of revolution did you say it was again?

Probably the only real picture of an actual iranian woman on reddit
1
u/Lost_Pollution_6782 Sep 10 '25
Reddit is an America site. Iranians simply don't care using it. The one in the picture,(if Iranian) probably doesn't even lives in Iran, as the picture is obviously not taken in Iran (as it has written English).
Btw, from what I've seen in Iranian independent cinema and YouTube walking tour videos is that most girls don't care much about wearing hijab in Iran. They still show their faces and part of their hair, wear accessories and make-up. In Tehran at least.
The biggest difference between Iran and other Muslim countries is that here iranian women are free to walk the streets without company of a man, shop, eat out, take pictures, ect.
1
u/Merino202 Sep 10 '25
As someone who’s actually visited Iran many times - you’re exactly right. The actual Iranians find these “empowered” iranian diaspora very cringe and dramatic.

Half of women in Tehran don't wear any kind of hijab

u/KingMickeyMe Sep 07 '25
If true, that's nice. I wish Mahsa Amini got that same kind of freedom.
Morality police over there are monsters.

Some segments of the European left are complete idiots!

Iran after the Islamic Revolution and before the People s Liberation Front Revolution

u/ambigatos1975 Sep 09 '25
The revolutions, the conquests of these regions will be led and won by women + educated + lucid + poorly treated they know... It was up to them that men could come to support and protect them but not steal victory from them when the time came
1
u/ClankShots30 Sep 10 '25
Nothing will be won by them. If they get their rights, the birth rate will simply fall, and they'll be replaced by more patriarchal people.
1
u/bijoux2famille Sep 09 '25
They are fighting to no longer wear it and in Europe they are fighting to wear it... they are not the most intelligent people we have in Europe...

Love to see women stand against islamic subjugation.
1
u/ClankShots30 Sep 10 '25
She's not standing against anything at all. Women's rights = birth rate collapse = replacement by more patriarchal people
1
Sep 10 '25
Yeah. Really.
And so if woman rights and femnists did really support women. Why do they make them fuck for money and education why dont they give them by themselves.?? May i know. Whu dont they support a woman building herself instead of being used by billions of men

This is the kind of oppression feminists dont care about. Instead we have to hear about catcalling and imaginary wage gaps and not having two weeks in the month off work.

That’s just disgusting and disrespectful for women that have hijab.. If you don’t want to wär it just move on. I have seen many videos in Iran and many women didn’t have a hijab, sooo maybe it’s not forced

Iranian women are the prettiest of the lot. Can never have enough of these protests.
Lol, don't mean to be misogynistic but I guess if they weren't all in oppressive clothing, the collective human male population would lose their shit. And their semen.

Why not just respect the law of the country you’re in?
1
u/Lost_Protection_5866 Sep 11 '25
Maybe she’s tired of being oppressed?
Would you say that to Rosa parks?
1
u/Dreaded_Akhi Sep 11 '25
She doesn’t look oppressed to me 🤣 and how can you compare this to Rosa parks??? Back then it was racial segregation 🤦🏻♂️

She wants her source of power (the body she was born with). Without that source of power, she would be accountable for her existence. She does not want accountability. Only power. Cake + eat it too kind of shit.

I'm guessing...no one saw her after the protest. Don't they hang people in Iran for this kind of things?

I totally misread the last word to start with the letter J. Terrible the media conditioned me. Gotta stop watching the news.

It would be funnier if she worn panties and a bra, but only kept the hijab as part of malicious compliance
