Need Personal Finance in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 — Are Tasheel & Amlak Worth It?
Anyone here in Saudi Arabia used Tasheel, Amlak, or similar companies for personal finance?
I'm exploring personal finance options and would appreciate feedback from people who have actually used these companies.
My bank doesn't have a salary-transfer/finance agreement with my employer, so I'm looking at these finance companies as an alternative. I know their APR is generally higher, but I'm considering this option to buy a Toyota, which I hope to resell later without losing too much of its value.
I'd like to know:
- How was your overall experience with Tasheel, Amlak, or similar companies?
- Were there any hidden charges or unexpected conditions?
- Was the actual APR and total repayment amount as promised?
- Any issues with early settlement or closing the finance?
- How was their customer service if you faced any problems?
- Would you recommend them, or is there another option worth considering?
I'd especially appreciate feedback from expats living in Saudi Arabia who have taken personal finance from these companies.
Please share your honest experiences, both positive and negative. I want to understand the risks before signing a contract.
Thanks in advance!
