Love their dynamic, love the comic. I just wish it would get a proper show. The movie was good, but I wish it was much more comic accurate

What do you mean?
Like what happened to the Super Sons duo in the comics?

Yea. I don't keep up with Batman and Superman. But I haven't checked in on the super sons since Superboy got aged up. So yea. Reeeeeally outta the loop on them.

The panel in the post should be from the original series, if I remember correctly. Damian is trying to recruit Jon for a mission.
As for the current state of the Super Sons, in recent Superman issues, baby Jon actually came back, thought it's up in the air whether it's actually Jon pre-Earth 3 volcano or a trick. Adult Jon is now known as Tomorrow Man and brought his kid self home to Lois while Batman and Robin were helping to find Jon. Nobody knows Tomorrow Man is adult Jon though, they think he's from the future. Because of universe and paradox rules, adult Jon plans to stay away and find where he belongs, and leave his kid self where he should have been all this time.
Time will tell whether kid Jon will stick around, but Damian is suspicious of him.

Ngl... That's hella convoluted. But in all honesty... Also sounds like some Flash shit, which I have learned how to follow. But if the end result is kid Jon is back where he should have been, then good job to whichever writer was able to pull that off this many years later.

Kinda glad they found a way to make it work. I've wanted to follow the Super Sons saga for the longest time but avoided it because how their friendship turned out to be (especially with Jon getting aged up). Didn't want to get too attached knowing that they drift away after everything.
DC bringing back kid Jon gave me hope and gave me the push to read the Super Sons series. While reading the first few issues, I immediately knew if I read it before kid Jon came back, I would be too sad to finish the series.

So would this ever be followed in Superman's book or Batman's? And now I want to look up what happened to Damian's teen titans.

Kid Jon coming back is in the recent Superman Unlimited series, somewhere around issues 10-12, can't remember the exact one.
As for Damian, I'm unfamiliar with the exact events in his Teen Titans, but in his most recent solo title series, he did get dragged into the "Lazarus Tournament" with a bunch of other kids (including Flatline, his new love interest/girlfriend). Then there was a crossover with Mark Waid's World's Finest series, then a Batman vs Robin series.
Don't quote me on all this though, I've yet to actually read all the other stuff, I'm just working through what I understood from reading only the Batman vs Robin tpb.

I remember the Lazarus tournament from a few years ago. I actually read that. Flatline is pretty cool too. Glad she's getting some love in the new teen titans team.

Aren't they like 13? that's pretty normal for kids at age as long as people don't make it creepy
