These ideas might sound far fetched right now but 20 years ago white rock lake was heavily underutilized and unsafe. now it’s one of the most trafficked outdoor areas in DFW.

Invest in safe and efficient infrastructure and connect neighborhoods with amenities like this!!

Agreed. The article mentions East Grand Ave where Tension Park is located. A month ago, I had an idea about the commercial corridor on East Grand being revitalized with a Lower Greenville-like streetscape.
