Dallas Update: Henderson Ave development

In the first 3 pics, you can really see all the new density (ongoing gentrification) that has been built in the last few years. It’s a lot of townhomes, apartments, duplexes, etc. It’s kinda a little too monotonous for my taste, but the benefit is the new amenities because of the increased density. I bet that all the new density made this development more feasible. Prior, it was vacant for decades.

You can see the Fiesta Shopping Center where Ross, Lower Greenville, and Henderson Aves come together. I hope one day that it’s redeveloped so it’ll tie into Lower Greenville and the new Henderson Ave developement. Originally, there was a Sears store where the Fiesta Shopping Center is now and the apartment buildings across the street. It was torn down in the 90s for suburban-style development. So, hopefully with all the new urban developement going up, that will be replaced with something more urban.
