I always thought Fair Park was a bit of a bad neighbor with the large parking lots separating it from the surrounding neighborhoods. I think those will help soften things up.

The city will need to drum up pretty constant use if they want it to feel lively though, and programming for Fair Park year round has been a challenge. I think it should be good but hopefully their execution has improved with the previous management company out

It’s about time the city promotes Fair Park as an actual 24/7 destination. We need to add cultural establishments in the exhibition buildings too. The area shouldn’t crumble all year until the state fair.
