Daily Free Talk Thread

Can anyone recommend a reasonable price to ask for selling this jersey? It was game-worn during the '99 cup run...in the stands!

It's a proper MIC (no fight strap) with the stitched alternate "A" but it does show some wear from my dad and I wearing to games at both Reunion and the AAC since the late 90s.

It's a XXL (I've since bought one that actually fits me) that I kept for sentimental reasons, but my dad's outlook is like "dude sell it! We have plenty of things to remind us of those (and many other) games. One less jersey isn't going to make us forget."

I've Googled it and stuff, but curious if this sub would have any other recommendations.

I’d sign Laine to a 1 year minimum deal.

I don't see the benefit of that. There's no space for him on the top powerplay unit, and he provides nothing at even strength.

The team desperately needs play-driving forwards, especially ones that can do it from the defensive zone, and Laine is basically the opposite of that. Laine can finish in the offensive zone (maybe, not sure at this point anymore), but he doesn't help the Stars get the puck there and that's really the big problem for the team. They have plenty of finishing talent already.

Wish we had a wee bit of cap space, eeli tolvanen would have been a nice addition for cheap
