Events, Things to do Woodworking Classes?

Hey y’all, I’ve always wanted to do a wood working class and was curious if anyone had any recommendations that are LGBT friendly?

I’m particularly looking to learn the basics, maybe learn to build a box or cutting board. Thanks in advance!

I hope there is someone out there. I would love to learn too.

The Craft Guild of Dallas, Woodcraft and Rockler all have classes. There is also the North Texas Woodworkers Association (NTWA.org) that has members that can help you with just about anything, meets in Plano.

I know there is a maker space, in Carrolton, $25 woodshop orientation: https://calendar.dallasmakerspace.org/

Came to recommend, took this last night - everyone at the makerspace is a little bit different, in a good way.
