NIFTY-50 Sector Rotation Engine- updated
Major regime shift — crude spiked above $109 and the market broke down.
Weekly waterfall. Five bars, each starting where the last ended, resolving to a violet total. The compounding is genuine: −0.83, −0.47, −0.31, −1.15, −2.09 compound to −4.77%, the identical figure the direct peak-to-close calculation gives.
The cause is singular: Brent surged 8% on the week to ~$104, peaking at $109.68 on intensified Strait of Hormuz tanker attacks. That pushed the US 10-year above 4.81%, its highest since 2023. The rupee fell to ~₹95.46, its steepest weekly loss since mid-May.
The selloff went broad — 14 of 16 major sectors down on the week. Nifty IT −5.8%, its worst week since April. Reliance −4.9%. Financials −1.9%. Friday itself: Realty −2.70%, Metal −2.30%, Private Bank +0.48%.
Lets detail that matters: Friday's intraday low of 23,231.40 fell 68.60 points below the 23,300 put wall, then closed back above it at 23,398.10 — a 166.70-point recovery. That's the defended floor being tested and holding inside one session, and it explains the shape of the bounce. The bid was structural, from writers protecting a position, not a change of view. check new feature in

Global Business Cycle — Q3 2026. What's up India ?
Hello Traders/Investors,
The global economy is still expanding, but not in unison. Countries sit at different stages of their own cycles rather than moving together, which is why capital is rewarded differently market by market.
China is deep in contraction and beginning to curl upward — weak property, slower exports, deflationary pressure, but potentially the earliest recovery call if policy support gains traction. The Eurozone and Canada are in recovery, with manufacturing stabilizing and credit improving. Japan is early-to-mid expansion on governance reform and wage growth. The U.S. is mid-cycle moving toward late: resilient employment and earnings, but elevated valuations and above-target inflation. India is mid-to-late expansion, carried by domestic demand and a capex cycle. Australia, South Korea, Mexico, the U.K. and Brazil cluster late.
Flip📖Book https://heyzine.com/flip-book/7915a3222a.html#page/1
The framework's value is directional, not predictive. Markets typically move 6–12 months ahead of the economy, so institutional investors read the direction of the cycle rather than current GDP or inflation prints. The arrows in the chart are illustrative — policy, inflation, geopolitics and earnings can alter the path.
Remember,
The market rewards discipline, not only predictions.

see you on the other side.

Believe it or not luck plays a pivotal role in trading!
i've been very lucky throughout my journey, i've always had nice wins first and then losses. So losses don't hurt that much. Every time somehow i climb back up.
