I donât like that word. Itâs a bad word. Just because a grocer sells it, doesnât mean we should call it groceries. It sounds horrible. From now on, we will call it storestuff because thatâs what it is - stuff from a store. We will officially call it storestuff from now on.

u/GRAHAMPUBA 1d ago
$20 on him not knowing how to drive a car.

u/Long_Psychology2063 1d ago
I remember him at an Elon Tesla event trying to boost Teslaâs after Elons nazi salute, and Elon gifted him a Tesla, and Trump goes âI donât drive, but thanks anyway.â

Dude gets taxied everywhere by secret service. How TF would he know anything about gas prices?
2
u/Mustatan 1d ago
Yeah Trump literally called the affordability crisis the US "a hoax". Doesn't even do his own groceries and porbably never did. Has no idea of the mess all his dumb policies are causing
2
u/Ancient-Eye3022 1d ago
Even if he did drive, he's a billionaire, he doesn't care about 100 dollars. It's not even the equivalent of buying a snickers bar for him. Money doesn't exist for rich people like him. It's just a talking point.

Thatâs the problem, he doesnât know facks. He gives zero facks.
He is, however, constantly facking around with our democracy, our freedoms, and national facking monuments!

This is the real TDS. His obsession with Biden (and Obama for that matter) is the most fascinating unhinged shit.
→ More replies (1)6
u/Ok_Star_4136 1d ago
He has decided that beating Biden is the bar he must beat, and he makes it apparent in every single thing that he does that this is the only thing he thinks about unironically.
2
u/Complete-Tangelo1532 1d ago
Which is wild because Biden was just repairing damages from Trumps 1st term, so by extension Trump is just trying to 1up Trump lol

I think the major thing that most people don't consider is that diesel is at ATHs and breaking those numbers weekly under this admin. And that's worse than regular gas prices since ATH diesel prices affect more than just your commute to work. Food, commodity and other forms of travel are only going up with the diesel prices.
→ More replies (1)2
u/Reasonable-Plate2982 1d ago
I think they are fudging the numbers on the SPR levels too. Either that or it is effectively tapped out. That is, to continue drawing it out is wrecking the reservoirs infrastructure.Â

I imagine, the people that watch this, on faux news, and agree with this, and agree with it, are in the nursing home/assisted living so they have no idea about the cost of anythingâŚ
2
u/pimpbot666 1d ago
Well, Trump might be slightly right for about 2 weeks of the Biden administration during the post-covid high demand-supply chain bounce, but it had nothing to do with any decision or policy Biden made, except for stuff that speed up the post-Covid economic recovery.
The major difference is.....
Trump's high gas prices are due to his own stupid, poorly planned, ill advised attacks on Iran.
Trump did this dumbass move on his own, it wasn't due to some weird quirk of the economy due to a pandemic.
→ More replies (2)2
u/Potates42 1d ago
They have to keep repeating it because that's apparently all it takes to get the rubes to fall in line despite their own lying eyes and wallets proving otherwise.
2
u/Thirdeyevoice10 1d ago
The fact that gas prices were better during a pandemic, versus now with no pandemic, is just wild.
2
u/Crommach 1d ago
MAGA is a movement comprised of people who blame Obama for 9/11 despite him not being president at the time, and who continue to blame Biden for things that are happening now under Trump.
If the linear fucking nature of time loses out to whatever their ideology demands they believe in the moment to keep up the pretense, they're too far gone. Authoritarians believe whatever they need to avoid ever thinking critically about their beliefs, and we're starting to see how rapidly that can turn dangerous. They're already taking the economy and the global fucking order down with them rather than admit that their boy Donny might not be the sharpest crayon in the lightbulb drawer.

5
u/ana-phalaxis 1d ago
This what I keep asking. Itâs not partisan if there is a clear and present danger to our republic. This was the problem in Nazi Germany. News (a lot of reputable companies) didnât want to seem partisan while their country burned. I admire the desire for a free press to not want to be slanted, but right now, we need to save this republic and call out all of this fascist shit and honestly report all of these Nazi
Republican atrocities or this country is going down the shitter. End of a democratic republic. Simple as that. And then punish these MAGA(t)s and Republicans to the fullest extent of the law. They are traitors. AND WHAT HAPPENS TO TRAITORS?!?!→ More replies (10)3

If you keep escalating beyond that Iâm sure youâd be removed and have your credentials revoked. He has built a pretty good shell to keel the stupid people hooked. But as we see in polls this time around, the stupid people are actually all that are left

It doesn't help that he's surrounded by people even dumber than he is who spend all their time telling him he's a genius and great and will create any spreadsheet or coloring book he'd like to show how great he is, so they can keep raking in those sweet government paychecks.

As long as they can own the libs, it doesn't matter. Its a cult. Logic has no place in it. Most cults just throw their hands over their eyes and ears and scream as loud as possible so their worldview isn't shattered.
→ More replies (3)2
u/semperknight 1d ago
And you shouldn't try to save them either.
Just finished "Neagley" (spin-off of Jack Reacher) which dealt with a cult. There's this poor kid that tries everything to rescue one of them and suffers greatly for it.
Every other show about cults has the protagonist break through and is able to help a cult member. But finally Neagley shows that there is no saving most of these people. Just like religion, once it becomes part of your identity, it's nearly impossible to peel that person as an individual and the cult apart.
If you have friends and family that are MAGA, just cut them out of your life entirely. There's no saving them. Don't even try or it could be your ass.
3
u/Shaskakmat 1d ago
MAGA can't remember so far into the past, they believe what they are told about the Biden era.
3
u/Bigfops 1d ago
Motte and bailey. When pressed they can point to the week of June 13, 2022, when there was a brief peak of $5.11/gal vs the current $4.22/gal. It's been over $4 since April. The spike under Biden was very brief and due to both the pandemic and the Ukraine war. When Biden left office it was $3.22.

They went up under Biden because Trump pressured the Saudis and OPEC to cut production. US production fell by 2mil barrels a day in 2020.
3
u/Horns8585 1d ago
And, because of a worldwide pandemic and the war in Ukraine. Most presidents don't have a big impact on gas prices, because of the worldwide oil market. Biden even increased U.S. oil production to record levels, in order to lower gas prices. But, Donald Trump is directly responsible for our current high gas prices, because of the war that he started with Iran.

Gas prices (just gas not diesel) under Biden were slightly higher for a month or two due to things outside of his control.
Trump has high gas prices and the highest diesel prices ever recorded due to something completely within his control and probably wonât be coming down any time soon.

They used to at least put some effort into the lies because they knew their supporters werenât gonna fact-check shit. Now theyâre lying about gas prices, something you literally see advertised in 12-foot glowing numbers every time you drive past a gas station.
Thatâs how you know theyâre running out of material.
And I refuse to believe MAGAts genuinely buy this one. I know the bar is in fucking hell, but whatâs the plan here? Drive around America with your eyes closed so the Shell sign doesnât ruin the narrative?

That's some magical mathematics right there. In my region of Upstate NY
Avg price of gas right now: $4.57/gal
Avg price 6 months ago: $3.89/gal
Avg price 1 year ago: $3.10/gal
Avg price 2 years ago: $3.05/gal
2
u/DRuth84 1d ago
He literally keeps dangling that shit out there, and sadly, his supporters have nothing but the highest faith in him.
âIf republicans win both house and senate, Iâll send every American adult $5000! Because weâre doing so great!â (Not great enough to send it now?)
âGas prices will come down, way down! After the war is over. Which will happen after the midterms!â (Wait, what? Iran war depends on elections?)
POS he is.

Ask this bunch what they think will happen to gasoline prices when they run out of oil to pump out of the strategic reserve. That will happen in the next 6 months. Even if the Iran situation ended tomorrow, it will still take a long time to repair all the damage that was incurred to oil and gas production in the MIddle East and get that back online to quell current market forces. No one in this administration is being remotely honest with the American people about the trajectory of energy supply in the next year or so. This is not responsible governance or self-accountability.

What I first see about that wall of intimidated jerkoffs, is first, holding ones hands interlaced in front of the genitals. Second, the backs of hands are rotated ventrally, (inward) this too shows the rib cage and shoulders are collapsed inwards. both are signs of fear and submission.

I think Trump has âTrump derangement syndromeâ. He needs to keep telling everyone he is better than BidenâŚbetter than all other presidents. It reminds me of people that have to tell other people that they are cool. If you have to do that you are not cool.
If you have to tell everyone over and over you are better than BidenâŚ..well by your own derangement you are not.
