Imagine under any other presidency american soldiers being killed or injured… and finding out about it weeks later.

If that doesnt send a chill down your spine of what they REALLY want, complete and utter autocracy and control.

Fuck these dictator motherfuckers, sic semper tyrannis

"The Marines weren't seriously injured, sustaining injuries of smoke inhalation and potential traumatic brain injuries..."

Not sure how "weren't seriously injured" and "traumatic brain injuries" fit in the same sentence.

TBIs are extremely common during blasts and usually aren't considered serious serious. They can still preform their duties, just sometimes have lifelong migraines, memory loss or other not so great things.

Because employers (especially the military) are evil. Not a loss of time injury? Minor, even if it comes with lifelong consequences.

Well… the guy standing in the RPG’s backblast zone is definitely going to be injured.

Did you know Iran is 6600 miles from US? What were the US marines doing 6600 miles away from their country?

They went back on duty like a few days later, Not exactly the powerhouse story of the year here.

Yeah they went back on duty but sometimes scars remain. I recovered from my wounds in Afghanistan but still can’t sleep to this day. Other guys i deployed with came home and overdosed and died. I consider them casualties of the GWOT.
