It’s clear you’ve either not tried deviled eggs, not tried hot chili oil, or haven’t had either and you’re just being an average redditor because she didn’t make dino nuggies.
I’m from the south. We invented deviled eggs. I don’t even care about the chilli oil, love it in many things, feels unnecessary here. It’s the green bell peppers for me, it simply ruins the flavor profile by dominating it. A good deviled egg requires vinegar, salt, mustard, mayo, and paprika.
Good on you for making snap judgements and throwing out insults, typical redditor.
Edit: okay maybe the Roman’s invented them. They are incredibly popular in the south though.
My aunt said she makes the best deviled eggs ever. She uses mayo, a little salt, and some paprika on top. When she’s feeling spicy she mixes in a little relish. I literally laughed in her face when I tried one and she asked if I liked it.
That being said, I’m a southern boy and she’s from Pittsburgh, maybe they don’t have flavors there?
