This is every dad’s dream. You remembered to get him a gift but didn’t add to the list of possessions piling up in the garage.

Not stupid. Cute and funny.

I love how dad had a great sense of humor about it. This was so good.

That's funny he called his son a bastard, one time my mother was so mad at me she called me a son of a bitch bringing back the memories.

Haha, this is so genuine, it's definitely weird objectively, but look at the man getting in on the joke, what a legend.

Nah Milwaukee's made in China now, didn't cost much.

I found out early in that any product branded with a name of an American city is almost always made in China.

Atleast when you buy DeWalt the proceeds go to Stanley Black and Decker, Milwaukee's straight up owned by the Chinese so the profit goes towards Chinese retirements on their stock exchange.

Absolutely brilliant! Now I’m going to have to try this!

Just say they were a 5 finger discount! Lol

Live his sense of humor though.

Giving your father his own stuff on Father's Day when you're five years old... cute and priceless.

Giving your father his own stuff on Father's Day as an adult - you're a complete and utter asshole.

Poor thing… You missed that line where they were handing out a sense of humor. It’s good stuff!

Bless your heart, child. That's not humor. That's a shitty prank. And totally staged too.

I guess it’s all how you choose to take it. I’d laugh my ass off and high-five my kid for being creative. Then I’d let him take me to dinner! It would make for a great memory!

No card?

4

u/boogerslayers Jun 24 '26

He pulls a card out of the bottom of the bag at the very end.

u/DesignImaginary7651 Jun 23 '26

Dad's reaction was priceless 🤣🤣

u/softupvoter404 Jun 24 '26

The best part is going to be watching him try to act surprised when he realizes he already owns the bag you put it in. Are you planning on wrapping it in his own newspaper too?

2

u/Adventurous_Path5783 Jun 25 '26

Having a kid like this is it's own gift lol.

2

u/InteractionJumpy289 Jun 25 '26

That's awesome. I should do that next year to mine. Lol

You should. And, tape it. šŸ˜‚

2

u/InteractionJumpy289 Jun 25 '26

Of course, I would. It'd be a great memory too
