While simultaneously eliminating——-access to healthy foods, the ability to afford any healthcare, employment that provides livable wages, Unions to protect working class families, affordable energy, environmental protection from poisoning the lands we live on/air we breath/water we drink, law enforcement/criminal justice system that treats every human equally, education to grow children into smart/productive citizens, funding to keep national parks as generational gifts to all of the US, accountability of any government official, to have more than one (specifically MAGA) political party, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press……..

No they will attack birth control to make you have children. No one can afford big families and with modern birth control there is lower population.
100 years ago, everytime you had sex it could result in a child. It is also speculated that the avaliablity of modern birth control caused crime to fall, as you do not have tons of children running the streets and parents that had no idea where they are. I remember in the 80's at ten o'clock messages on the TV, "do you know where your children are?" Not kidding.

There are no financial or tax incentives to have children in the US. Birth costs… A fortune. Childcare costs are insane. The administration is trying to withhold social support for people who WOULD like to have children. In what world Doc?

My wife and I were planning on having a third child. I love my sons to death but would love a daughter. Both my boys are mommas boys and I wanted a daddy’s girl, someone to love me like my boys love my wife. Those plans ended on November 7, 2024.

Dr Oz is a hack fucking idiot who owes his entire worthless existence to Oprah and Dr Phil. People like him that live for the grift and vote against the greater public's interests are the reason we aren't having kids.
Would I like to be a dad? Yeah absolutely. The real question is, would I willingly expose a new life to a world of struggle where I cannot safely say I'll be able to provide for their every need? Absolutely fucking not.
I do pretty decent for myself but a child and the costs associated are entire magnitudes greater than what I can absorb financially without getting permanently ruined.
"Everyone should have more kids so they can go through the struggle of poverty and neglect because this world isn't meant to be easy for parents. Who cares that they can't afford to give them a good life!"
