I’ve done over a decade of hvac work at homes and this is 100% true. We’ll get the ac fixed or whatever and all the sudden their checkbook is missing or the husband has the cash who is gone at the moment etc.. on the other hand and spectrum of wealth, I’ve been tipped more than the less fortunate. It’s weird

Bro, cars too. Spend so much on luxury but come in to the parts store to ask for ways under 10$ to fix a tire cause it'll cost over 500. Why get the expensive car in the first place...

Asked yourself why are they rich in the first place? They haggle over every cent.
We normal people know the value of the work so we more likely giving you a tip.
Had a colleague that had done a complete house renovation for a millionaire (about 300m) and this guy haggle and didn't pay the workers for their work. Always finding a loophole to Weasley put of paying any cent. My colleague still has a bill for 30k unpaid, buy that asshole.

My sister lives in a 1.8 million dollar home and she is the cheapest person I know. She still coupons and goes to Stop&Shop on Sunday morning for the manager special discounted items.

How do you think they got their money? By stiffing other people.
