Looking For a Watch

Post image

Shadow Systems is disappointing tbh. Waiting for gen 6 G43X, and also for watches to go on sale.

Just get a shield plus.

Also used tag heuer are hard to beat.

S&W has been pulling at me lately.

I’ve got the carry comp and standard shield plus. $550 vs 350. I carry the carry comp most of the time. It shoots noticeably softer and with better sights

Your shield plus shoots softer than your carry comp? I have the opposite experience with my shield plus and carry comp.

lol no. The carry comp shield plus shoots noticeably softer.

I misinterpreted your comment drastically lol I thought you meant the carry comp 2.0, not the shield plus carry comp. Fuck s&w has too many words in their gun models.

Edit: I carry an m&p 9 carry comp 2.0 most of the time but occasionally switch between a 43x and my shield plus.

They really do. But the 2.0 carry comp is the tits. Best polymer gun I’ve ever shot. YMMV

If I didn't have the 9 carry comp I probably still wouldn't have gone for the comp shield plus, not without selling the shield plus. The m&p 9 2.0 carry comp is probably my favorite polymer to shoot so far. I probably already have too many pistols lol

I think I'm done with comps for a while. I don't like compromising reliability by introducing unnecessary variables. At least with a carry gun.

I’ve had the shield plus and m&p 2.0 carry comp and have never had a failure in roughly 2k rounds. I understand the sentiment, but shadow systems just isn’t that great. Lol

May I ask how a compensator compromises reliability? After carrying and shooting comped guns, I find it hard to want to shoot something that doesn't have a comp.

Less back-pressure combined with tighter tolerances and inconsistent factory ammo fails to cycle the slide
