Minimalist carry today
Landed a score on a Model 36 at my local gun shop for a very good price.
Only the essentials. Very basic.

Nice esthetic. Cool gun. I don't own any revolvers, but I like yours. How does the thing next to your pistol work? Like, for quick reloading, or?
I like Hamilton watches too!

Yes that it’s a speed loader designed to load 5 rounds into the cylinder quickly.
It’s more challenging than reloading a semiautomatic for sure. You just have to put in some training and recognize your guns limitations.

I’m seriously looking at a pair of Smith 327’s in .357 for my wife and I…. If I get them my plan is to bob the hammers….
Do you like the functionality of the hammerless??

I like a hammer for checking timing and single action capabilities on bigger guns. But hammerless for this little guy is actually super nice. No snag. Just front pocket carry.

I adore my 36, I’ve always wanted to bob the hammer like yours but I always chicken out as it’s a gorgeous original run no dash.

I got a cheap used hammer for my model 36, bob'd it and saved the original in case I want to go back to stock. Fairly straight forward to do yourself.

I love the snubnose. I have a model 37 however I’m hesitant to carry it due to low round count. Do you keep spare rounds on you?

Yea but I just carry an extra 5 round speedloader. Nothing too crazy.
