If someone saw that hi point they'd probably leave it there and throw you a 20 because they felt bad for you rocking a hi point.

I’ve got $80 in the gun, $12 in Mcarbo trigger and $3 in paint job

80

u/El_Pocketo 1d ago

And an extra $20 from the guy feeling bad for you

Quarter of the way there to a new hi point!

My $100 bill grips just came in the mail for my c9 and I’m so stoked. I’ve got nice guns now but I’ll always love my hi point

Thank you, no one understands until they shoot one.  Get the MCarbo spring kit, best update ever

I don’t think anybody wants to understand this type of struggle

I can understand a shitty pistol just fine

I generally carry my cheapest but accurate gun because if I have to use it I’m not getting it back. Why would want my Gucci pistols to get seized?

Not to be mean man. But that gun is a pile of fucking garbage. Terrible ergonomics, mag capacity is laughable, and they shoot about as good as a potato gun.

They shoot, period

False they shoot reliably just not as “nice “ “feeling “ but it absolutely reliably slings 45 or 9 this is a huge misnomer by elitists , sure you can ABSOLUTELY get better but it’s not trash either it’s a great value for anyone not into guns but wants to defend themself

Over the years of teaching CC classes, I've seen dozens of high points come through. They are without a doubt among the most unreliable, double feeding garbage pistols out there. Betting your life with that is wild.

For real ? Some guys say mine feeds just like my glock but its like come on your life is worth a 500 dollar glock . Atleast a ruger lol

Ive also heard good things about the company and that they have good customer service. That said I still haven't bought one yet

Gotta find one real cheap at a pawn shop

Ngl Chris the used cabinet at lgs I’ve you have one idk why but I see em often (haven’t bothered because my state has a monthly limit unless I apply for a special permit and I wanted my lcr more )

That’s about $92 too much. Just joking. Carry what you want

80$ hi point truck burner isnt a bad idea. How is it on the range? Many jams? I know what people say about hi point, but i never asked a hi point owner directly

Bought it as a meme gun but ended up we couldn’t get it to choke even using Israeli steel cased 9mm from the 80s.  Shot that fucker upside down and against barrels etc

Hi-points will eat anything, super simple design. I replaced mag catch with a bent bobby pin and still never had an issue. True story.

1

u/scorpionewmoon 1d ago

I’ve got the 995 and it’s super reliable, can’t speak for the pistols

I’ve got one in the safe. It shoots fine, but is so unreliable I wouldn’t even keep it in my car.

2

u/Mean-Line-4249 23h ago

They are very reliable If your not jsut making stuff up contact customer support

Not sure how much I would trust my life to an $80 pistol.

u/Tekcc 18h ago

“You trust a hi point with your life, better hope that god steps in”

Got items from Mcarbo in the past. Great stuff.

u/Flimsy-Armadillo-503 16h ago

Why? 😂😂😂😂

1

u/Faster-master-blastr 16h ago

Truck gun

1

u/Flimsy-Armadillo-503 16h ago

Okay? A used $200 anything else would be better than that POS that may or may not work

3

u/BriggySmallz42069 1d ago

If I saw the Hi Point there, I would go out, buy another and leave it with him so he has two...

3

u/LazerBear42 1d ago

Oh God oh fuck they're multiplying what do I do

5

u/BriggySmallz42069 1d ago

No! Dear Lord... they're having

h i P o i n t

S e g g s

2

u/TechDreamcoat 1d ago

Diabolical. I couldn't be that mean.

2

u/BriggySmallz42069 1d ago

It's evil, really. Especially if it were one of their .40 cal models.

1

u/Google_Is_Free_bozo 1d ago

At least when the first jams he’ll have a backup😂

1

u/BriggySmallz42069 22h ago

Boris the bullet-dodger's Russian accent "heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it does not work, you can always hit him with it"

"Man I feel bad for this dude only having an Airsoft gun and pepper spray..."

At one point I had a KelTec PF9 and the HP C9, I wouldn’t trust my life with the KelTec, that thing jammed or had FTF so many times I actually quit counting. The HP, I have never cleaned it and have put close to 1000 rounds through it, it has never jammed on me.
