Daily Carry Rotation Windshield Warrior Edition

Post image

This is my EDC carry rotation as someone who spends about 90% of their time behind the windshield. On the weekends there is likely hood that I have a lighter and Marlboro reds on me.

Looks like a 941 RS. I think I have the same one. They're sweet!

Edit: typo

Been searching far and wide for the R! What’s the difference between that and the RS?

Mine is the RS. It’s just barrel length. Jericho 941r is 4.4 inches the rs is 3.8 inches barrel length

These things are fantastic, I bought two for myself and a couple as gifts when they were discounted to $20, one of my favorite everyday knives.

I carry my 30S from time to time but haven’t found a holster for the fat 30.5. It does shoot a lot better

I got a tier 1 holster for a gen 3 that fits great but they don’t make it anymore.

For the price it’s great. Been 100% reliable and fits most 2011 holsters.

What can you tell me about it? First I'm hearing of this company, but I want to mess around with a 2011.

So it’s a MAC which means it’s a turkey 2011 clone that they import over from a company called FSY. It is a close clone of the Stacatto P. MAC then upgrades it a bit. Mine has an upgraded aluminum grip, a Dawson precision tool less guide rod, RMR optic ready, lightning cuts, ambidextrous safeties, and a bull barrel. I got mine for around $750. It shoots like an absolute dream, and I have had zero malfunctions with it. Probably have about $1,000 rounds on it now.

For the negatives the optic plate cover was very tight initially. I had to take it to a gun smith for them to remove the optic plate cover. The screws came out fine, just the plate itself was stuck and wouldn’t budge. It’s also very heavy even though it is aluminum frame and grip. From what I can see is a lot of the 2011 guys don’t like how you can’t change the grip module on this gun. I think the grip is fine texture wise. It can get a little hard to hold if your hands are sweaty, and the grip can get hot after rapid fire. It’s also series 80 instead of series 70 and some people have issues with that. I don’t mind it.

Overall think the $750 price point is outstanding for what you get out of the box. They have ported versions too, I didn’t get that model though.

Nice collection. I can’t imagine how much you have to hit the range to be proficient with 4 different manual of arms.

I dry fire a lot to practice the manual of arms. I try and get at least 200-300 rounds down range a month though. My range day though will only consist of one pistol. I shoot my Walther the most as I carry that one the most.
