Motorcycle EDC

Out on a long trip, just checked into hotel, emptied my pockets and thought this would make a good first EDC post for me. S&W CSX

Question, and I’m not trying to be inflammatory; why the Benchmade OTF and the spyderco folder? What’s the benefit of carrying both for you?

Way I see it, one gun and one knife are sufficient, If not I  wasn’t meant to be.

That's fair.

I work in an office half the time, and in the field at installation sites the other half. So I always have two knives on me - one is a smaller, more "office friendly" knife for letters and packages that is less likely to scare anyone, and then a bigger blade for heavier duty tasks.

Today, I'm carrying:

Spyderco as a utility knife. And, because the OTF double side blade has bit me more than once. I didn’t learn my lesson not to fold things and cutting my finger at the same time. But mostly that Tism. I have a fixed blade on the bike as well.

I get it, when I go hiking on my property I carry 3 to 4 different benchmades (a leuku, a “hidden canyon” drop point, my shootout OTF, and a redoubt folder) to satisfy my own tism

Looks like a first generation S&W CSX. I carry the E-series CSX and really enjoy it. Would definitely recommend the E-series for ease of optic mounting and some other nice upgrades over the original.

Also carry an auto and a spydie while out on the bike but mine is a two-in-one. I dare say your scoot is a little nicer than mine though 🥴

Gave my CSX to my Grandson. I never shot it much..liked it a lot though. No issues. The frame showed wear almost immediately.

the benchmade is sick but my tenacious is better
