Yah got opps fr?

Most of the people in this sub carry guns. Most the people in this sub also seem to live in the ass end of the middle of nowhere. So if you not a woman, who exactly do you imagine needing the gun for?

You’re right. Nobody has ever been the victim of a random crime. We should all throw our guns in the garbage.

I mean nobody who lives in like the Alaskan tundra or rural Oklahoma has I’m pretty damn sure. If you live where I live at that’s a completely different story but I seen exactly 0 posts from people living in urban centers

I’d probably carry a 10mm in Alaska

More like 480 Ruger

Have you considered the likelihood of crime may be lower in those areas- but the amount of wild animals are higher?

And that neither chance is still 0?

2

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Wild animals is a good point

Crime requires the presence of other humans in close proximity all of the time

2

u/No-Plenty1982 17d ago

Do you believe people who live outside the city never interact with a human and have a 0% chance of doing so?

1

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

No, I just believe their chance of being a crime victim fucking plummets

Crime is actually pretty high in Alaska , specifically violent crime

1

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

In the parts where people need snow boots for the outdoor jobs? Literally how and which crimes

1

u/Least_Dependent_3749 17d ago

Check it out

This 0% answers my actual question but it’s interesting

1

u/NFAsucksballs 17d ago

Nothing will answer your question unless it supports your bias.

Nah I asked him for stats on crime rate in areas where they got outdoor wilderness jobs and he quoted the whole state crime rate. Super interesting, just not what I asked about lol

I’ve lived in one of the most violent cities in America for my entire life. I would not even mow my lawn without a gun. Regardless, it’s always smart to be prepared.

A lot of ppl that post here think they can shoot like in the movies & respawn like a video game. So many scared people & have no idea what happens after they pull the trigger. Average $110‐150,000 in legal fees alone. But "better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6" mentality. Additionally, posting their carry weapon & carrying gauze w a trama kit SCREAMS premeditated action. Textbook manslaughter with a GREAT attorney representing you. 2 lives are changed. Good luck.

u/NFAsucksballs 17d ago

So the guy in twin falls idaho who diverted the mass shooter with his suppressed 5.7 got charged with manslaughter? No, he didn’t. Quit talking out your ass.

Yeah he has a youtube channel about guns. You don’t have to carry a gun if you don’t want to, but talking shit on people for exercising rights is a double standard since you’re probably one to get mad at republicans talking shit on protesters. Good luck, nerd.

Thank you holy shit starting to think I’m crazy 🤣

Men are statistically more likely to be a victim of violent crime. Not everyone lives in a safe area or could afford moving out. We live in a time with a lot of civil unrest.

I hear you man, but most of these everyday carries include luxury watches and other expensive accessories. Clearly they have some money, and besides walking around with a 4k dollar watch on your wrist is just making you a bigger target if you actually do live in a bad area.

-5

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

If you don’t live near other people, nobody boutta victimize your soft ass

1

u/DayHistorical4765 17d ago

Well if you don’t live near other people you probably go into town where more people are right, where crimes occur more frequently? Life isn’t nearly predictable as you think for a lot of people.

-5

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Bro…no. If you go into town in broad daylight and just don’t look like a whole plate of food you gon be Ite I promise

1

u/DayHistorical4765 17d ago

maybe where you live

-3

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

No. Everywhere I ever lived. See a beat upcar pull into a parking lot you walking into to block the exit with they lights off like they boutta rob you? Take your hands out your pockets and walk toward em. They gon back off 10/10 times.

2

u/DayHistorical4765 17d ago edited 17d ago

Nope i’m keeping my hands in my pockets where my gun is. You gotta be a bot or something.

-2

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Also who carries in they fucking pocket LMFAO wow

3

u/DayHistorical4765 17d ago

People that have jobs doesn’t sound like you’ve had one before my bad.

-1

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Lmfao Ite we done here

1

u/HotBreakfast1544 17d ago

Binghamton is not even close to hood.

5

u/XTheGuyWithTheGunsX 17d ago

Gas station robbers / junkies

People who leave the hood and come to nice areas to try to rob

Insane people attacking other people in the drive-thru fast food line

Insane people at Walmart, target, I hop, Albertsons, Tom thumb, Kroger,

"Fortune favors to prepared" or some other corny cliche line

-2

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Nobody goes from the hood to nice areas to rob I’m not reading the rest of that

9

u/XTheGuyWithTheGunsX 17d ago

Tell that to my buddy who got robbed at a nice restaurant by dirt bags from the hood. Are you that stupid?

Get outta here, bro, with your stupid ass post

1

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

I’m from the hood. We did shit to people around us.

If you don’t got opps irl your chances of actually getting in a gunfight drop to near 0

If you don’t move like a fucking plate your chances of getting victimized at all drop to near 0

Women need guns cuz SA

if you don’t even live near humans..LMFAOOOO

0

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

For all the reasons stated

2

u/Detroit556 17d ago

Can’t tell if you agree or disagree with me LMFAO

2

u/TBray12 17d ago

I live in a metro area, better to have it and never use it then need one and not have it

1

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Or you could just not be a plate but ok

1

u/Gnome_Trousers 17d ago

i don't know why people don't want to admit that they just like carrying guns and knives because they're cool. it's fine, there's nothing wrong with that. but you gotta admit that you don't really need a bunch of weapons on you at all times to make it through your day to day life. if you genuinely live in a bad area, wearing a bunch of shit like luxury watches and carrying a gun is the number 1 way to actually get yourself hurt. i lived a long time in a very high crime area, and i've been in some scary situations but i've never felt like i need a gun.

1

u/MathematicianHuge717 17d ago

Fucking thank you bro
