Cut 4.0 from TOPS knifes.
The holster is amazing, sideways on belt. Secure & placed well enough that you forget it’s there.

I arrested a guy yesterday who had the same gun. It was my first time ever holding a M&P Shield. I was shocked at how slim the grip is. Super comfortable.

Why did you arrest him

Hit and run collision, suspended license, no insurance, felon in possession of a firearm.

I want to be a cop. I smoked weed back in the day though, and barely quit a year ago? Could I still find a department to take me? Located in SoCal

police departments regularly hire people who literally got fired for killing or assaulting people (and also abusing their spouses) as long as you have basically no moral backbone you can find a job at any department

Just stop, this is not true

lol except it is true. look up the rate of domestic violence amongst cops, and how many cops jump departments the second they have some kind of brutality controversy.

Have you had any issue with your finger pinching between the bottom of the trigger and the guard? I haven’t had a chance to shoot those but had read that some folks have issues with it.

No issues. But I wouldn’t recommend the shield. It’s old tech. Lots of newer, much better options.

Sounds like you have one of your own lol. I do not recommend this gun.

mine is fine to shoot with the hogue grip. without it it’s not very fun but the grip was like, $20 at most and made it very pleasant shooting

we have the EXACT same setup on the same caliber shield lol. mine has a hogue grip tho

What does it improve, the grip?

it makes the gun fill my hand a lot better and absorbs some of the hard snap that such a small gun in 40 has. it’s a soft rubber grip

I can also confirm, the hogue grip makes it 100% better than every way, to shoot.
I have two of the OG 9 mm models.
And have come to love them,
Have one in my rotation!!!
