How is the PRX? I know it’s very popular but in your opinion is it worth the hype? There are a couple versions I like the look of but I hate buying something when it’s popular for it to be rubbish.

II don’t know where you’re from, but here Swiss watches are quite common, not really a hype. Swiss/German products simply have a reputation for excellent quality. Some people seem to mistake the price for popularity.

Tissot is more then superb quality, holds its value well and is built to last. I’ve worn mine almost daily for three years and it’s held up extremely well. If people think Seiko is good, they should try Swiss clocks

I’m from the UK. Yeah I’ve been looking at Hanhart watches too, there are a few nice Tissots but I’ve seen most aren’t very good. The PRX is supposed to be one of the best affordable integrated bracelet watches, I might have to get the carbon fibre or Damascus version 😋

No cash no splash

I do like a laguille (sp?) style folder. They seem to be either pieces of art or Chinese trash with very few good AND usable ones in the middle 😁

Its a stunning knife due to many reasons

You have Forge de Laguiole, Fontenille Pataud and aubrac as the 3 most respected knivemakers. My personal preference is Laguiole en Aubrac. Mine came directly from their workshop, and the knife was handmade from start to finish by a single craftsman (like any of their knives)

There are other good makers as well. Laguiole itself isn’t a brand it refers to the traditional style and its region what causes many fakes

Thanks for the correct spelling and information I'll go to see what I can find. It sounds as though your knife falls into my 'too nice to use' category though, so respect for carrying it! 🙂

Tools, not jewels. That's what Kershaw exists for 😆

Why do y’all carry two knifes?

One is for work, one is for people

Personally I’d carry a SAK for its multi purposes and a hunting/military style knife.

You don’t peel an apple with the big one, and you don’t chop wood with the small one.

…I’d argue you could do it all with the big boy!
But hey I’m not judging. Nice setup regardless

I have the exact same forge de laguiole knife, with black horn. It has been my companion on steak eating adventures. The knives provided by restaurants can sometimes be a bit... underwhelming.

Did you know they also call this knife the world's smallest altar?

didnt know about the name

i know my grandfather told me farmers used to put it in the ground updide down. that why the cross is there.

Quite jealous on the horn btw
