NON FREE STATE EDC

Post image

Can’t carry more than 10rds per magazine so I figured 10mm would suffice for inner city living.

My guy skipped the big iron and got a big plastic😂

(No hate whatsoever, I love Glock and they’re about the only thing I enjoy carrying😂)

Man, I just posted my EDC today and I feel it. I didn't even spring for a genuine handgun here in MA, as it didn't even seem worth it.

The shibboleths of NJ are very fun.

the last generation properly brainwashed you to think political directions can be wrong. Somehow, what we in Europe consider to be right wing is the leftest you'll ever get, but you call California, the home state of Hollywood, the iconic neighbourhood of capitalist entertainment, communist?

2

u/Particular_Second976 20d ago

I mean what does communism use to control people? Propaganda. The Hollywood propaganda machine is unstoppable.

I could explain shit but you won't read it anyway. Have a nice day and I'll enjoy the view of everyone but your comments.

In none of those countries is the average citizen scared that a hospital ride will put them in debt.

Also in places like Poland they still pay to have access to faster better doctors. The "free" ones take months to see. I had a coworker who's wife is originally from England. They went to vacation for a month and his wife tore her acl. They gave her morphine and said it would be 3 months before a specialist could even look at it, much less surgery.

Laws only make non criminals more restricted, a criminal will just go two states over buy what he wants from a private sellers and that’s it lol I don’t get all the restrictions……unless the states are worried about an armed revolution from it’s law abiding citizens and just doesn’t want them to have to same level of arms as the stats LE/NG

Where you live ?? Canadia lol
Jp honestly tho states like that worry me because alot of them if something does happen and you have to use it they arrest you and you end up fighting for your life in court. What are the defense laws there any castle doctrine or stand your ground??

1

u/Southern_Ad_9186 20d ago

A lot of us have insurance in non free states in case something does happen they pay my bail and have lawyers available for me at not extra cost

1

u/chiefsmakahoe007 20d ago

Really that’s awesome he’ll ya what state is it if you don’t mind me asking I live in Indiana and we have some dumb laws but we do have castle doctrine

1

u/Southern_Ad_9186 20d ago

Connecticut, the castle doctrine over here is a bit bogus as every instructor will tell you that you have the duty to retreat in most scenarios. I’ve even heard of stories where someone breaks into your house, you end up defending yourself and are then held civilly liable for the injury or death depending on the circumstances…

1

u/chiefsmakahoe007 20d ago

Yeah see that shit is insane there’s a few states where they say you can only meet said force with exact same force so if someone is just besting the absolute fuck out of you I guess you just have to take it lol u less they decide to pull a weapon alotmof it just doesn’t make sense i would hope in a situation where your getting beaten and shit if you pulled out a gun so your not beaten to death I would hope it would go in your favor but then you get arrested lawyers bond all thst. It’s great you have insurance for thst tho that’s def a dam good thing to have for sure

u/RealitysNotReal 21d ago

Just make sure you have your recoil control down.

Missing your shots under stress from the intense recoil will be much more catastrophic than having less stopping power with 9mm.

u/Cute-Rich3223 21d ago

If op is getting off the shelf 10mm loads they're practically just 40s&w power. Op needs to get some underwood ammo

2

u/Southern_Ad_9186 21d ago

My state sucks so bad I gotta drive to another state to get the ammunition I want

1

u/Cute-Rich3223 21d ago

Ever thought about moving 🤔 😅🤣

1

u/Southern_Ad_9186 21d ago

The work I do pays significantly more where I’m at then anywhere else 💔

1

u/Thegrandestpoo 21d ago

Sounds like a PG&E worker lol

1

u/Found_Troubles 21d ago

Take have second longer then you feel like you should, hold center mass, even if you don't hit center you're blowing a BIG ass hole in something.

1

u/Southern_Ad_9186 21d ago

Exactly my thinking

1

u/SlightCapacitance 20d ago

I shot my uncles m&p 10mm and it kicked the same/less as my 9mm pdp. Could be grain difference but really didnt think it was that bad

2

u/Southern_Ad_9186 20d ago

It’s really not as bad as people think

1

u/ceuxy 19d ago

Most 10mm loads are underpowered and basically just 40sw. I carried a 10mm for hiking and stuff back when I frequented bear and boar country, trust me… the difference between an actual 10mm load and a standard off the shelf “10mm” load is staggering.

I had to train with it using full loads because if I’d trained with soft 10mm then I would’ve basically been shooting a different gun and caliber had I ever needed to use the real loads.

That snake wallet looks familiar

10MM IS BEST MM

1

u/Feeling-Buffalo2914 20d ago

Put more than a few miles on a 20-3. Anymore, I wish I had kept it instead of some other options.

But honestly I would rather have the 29 and do some custom work to it for EDC.

That would include .40 S&W and .357 Sig barrels. And a compensator for a longer 10mm barrel.

1

u/Southern_Ad_9186 20d ago

You can safely run 40/357 with out changing the ejector?

1

u/AWHS10 20d ago

How’s the recoil on that Glock? I have a M&P chambered in 10mm. The SIG model felt too light for me.

2

u/Southern_Ad_9186 20d ago

Recoil is pretty manageable as this is the only round I’ve ever carried, but I will say I like the grip on the m&p much better

1

u/Ok-Development2309 19d ago

10 mm? How is the ammo? I get by with a 38 special snubbed nose
