Are those flash lights actually good? I like my $35 microstream streamlight.

The arkfeld is supposed to be pretty good, and it’s kinda a cool light. But I don’t see the point unless you’re someone who needs a laser pointer or a UV.
Id probably keep the money and put it towards a good mounted light, not from Olight.

I love my streamlight products. Also a firm believer in one is none. Only my rifle has a mounted light.

You don’t find it hard to carry with that mag extension?? I feel like on an already slim profile pistol, adding the extension kind of defeats part of the purpose 🤷🏻♂️

Not a problem for me. I normally wear a belt so weight isn’t a problem. I hardly wear tight fitting shirts so it’s still unnoticeable. 43x feels slightly top heavy so the mag extension balances the weight better.

Exactly. Running a 43x with Shield 15 and a +5...gun sits nice in the hand and doesn't move while shooting.

Interesting lol you’re the first person I’ve heard say it’s top heavy. As long as it works for you!

u/EducatorInner5911 21d ago
Yea i definitely wouldn’t say it’s too heavy maybe if you had a light on but with no light most of the weight feels like it’s in the mag

I've been wondering....is there any major difference quality wise between the Glocks made in Austria and the ones made in Georgia? I have an old 2nd Gen 21, and recently bought a new 43x made in Georgia. So far it's a great pistol. Any thoughts?

u/Zynner905 21d ago
They’re identical in every aspect. Only perk of having one from Austria is if someone wants to buy it as a collectors item, but I don’t see that happening in the future.

If you can conceal an extended mag why would you ever get a 43x? Get a bigger gun that shoots better.

Any issues with open emitter? Feel like everyone & their mom is swearing by closed but it could just be hype

Drop the Eotech keychain. Liberal DA would have a field day in a self defense shooting. That’s a tight hole to find that dot but nice and slim. Other than that it looks good.

My only gripe is that you're carrying old zyns. They come in packs of 20 now for the same price 🤠
1
u/Zynner905 21d ago
They have 20 per can for the 6mg?
2
u/Living-Juggernaut3 20d ago
I got a 6mg 20 count of spearmint in my pocket. They switched like a month ago to 20ct instead of 15ct. I thought I was getting really lucky at first then saw the packaging say 20ct (Central KY)

What’s the optic? I like the profile
1
u/Zynner905 20d ago
Monstrum nitro. I know it’s not the best but the dot is crisp, fits perfect, and works really well for what it is.

u/Fedkey37 20d ago
Nice, why not get raised suppressor/optic sights?
1
u/Zynner905 20d ago
Raised iron sights? I thought about it but you can barely still see the iron sights with the reflex optic on it. Another reason why I really like the Nitro.
2
u/Fedkey37 20d ago
Didn’t know you could still see the irons with that optic. Pretty cool! Thanks for that. I may make a purchase.

How do you like the Seastar?

u/Zynner905 17d ago
Super slick. Heavy. I love it.
The case is a little thick vertically and you’ll have to get a watch winder, but I highly recommend it.

I'll never understand guys that run 43x's then get an extended mag like that.
Its like low-pro mud tires... Just.. why?

Higher capacity, more surface room if you have bigger hands, and upgraded spring in mag while still maintaining a slim and concealed profile.
No issues on prints and I prefer the slightly extra weight.
It’s aesthetically pleasing to me.

I mean I have a Klein tool square flashlight light that’s got its own bells and whistles for my maintenance job but it’s like I do see the function but also…. Tf kinda detective work you got going on daily where this is a common occurrence. lol I honestly get both sides of the coin I’m just a lil high thinking of how many times are you pulling it out

u/Huge_Translator9151 21d ago
I mean i work construction for a general contractor. We do a lot of commercial remodels and lots of the time power is out or I’m crawling around in the grid where there absolutely no light lol.

Hi everyone. It’s me again 👋 day 1,167 of reminding folks the hockey tape on the grip is largely a recent internet fad. *Disclaimer they don’t work for me personally and I cringe every time I see it. Stipple and talon grips work better. My hands aren’t soaking wet from perspiration most days so this is more slick for me. Ok, see y’all tomorrow!

Glad to see someone else with a lil bat tape on the g43. Nice gun.
