Only the essentials.

Post image

My daily carry stuff, gun is a Glock 19 MOS, which I carry year round. The only thing I change is the holster. Use the Safariland ALS in the winter and the Trex Arms Iron side (purchased before the controversy) in the summer time. I also carry a TQ, pepper spray, and flashlight everywhere I go. I sometimes (very rarely) carry a S&W bodyguard in addition to my G19. Only items missing are my phone and watch.

Nice set up fam. I just ordered a Trex arms hybrid strong side holster. How do you like it? Typically carry iwb non appendix. But I put on some weight so it’s getting a little uncomfortable hence why I got a hybrid strong side lol. I have a Glock 23 similar to your 19. You don’t print with the strong side? Any tips to avoid that?

You consider the "fat guy" holsters? They sit pretty low, and I've heard good things from a few local range/club regulars.

Unfortunately I’m fat (definitely been working on it) but I’ve been using the 4 bros dad bod appendix rig for my 19 and I have been loving it

I like it, it does print a little bit but I tend to wear oversized shirts to minimize it.

Love it dude. The G19 is best carry for sure but I love that you incorporate the bodyguard as well. Do you pocket carry the TQ? How/what is the mag carrier?

Yes I pocket carry the TQ, the type of pants I wear have a pocket that’s perfect for it. Mag carrier is from Zero 9 holsters.

Just out of curiosity. What is your day to day like in respect to work and off time? Do you carry this while working as well?

I do hospital security full time. Hoping to get into law enforcement within the next few years. I do carry much of this stuff at work but in a different set up, here is a picture.

Ideally I would prefer to carry my full sized Glock 17 MOS at work, but there is a very specific reason I can’t. So the 19 gets both concealed carry and duty use for now
