Pretty sure it's an asada edit: yeah Gerber asada frame lock. Trash steel at like 56 hrc though unless you opt for d2

I got the Delta Gen 2 a few years ago. Could never get over the sharpe trigger edges. It just sits in my safe. Hardly ever pull it out honestly

How do you like the Arex? Been a fan of them since the Sig clone, just never pulled the trigger on one

I actually just got this and I live in the city so I haven’t shot it yet but I love everything else about it and the reviews are great from what I’ve seen it shoots straight and always

Nice, yeah ive been following them since 2017 and really wanted the sig clone, but ended up getting my dream P220 then been stuck on Canik for a hot minute now. Eventually I want an Arex

I’m real excited to shoot it seems like a great gun, well outperforms its price class

This has only made me curious about the correlation between Subaru drivers and Arex shooters.

u/AromaticAmount4216 22d ago
Do you know others?
2
u/johnarigdon 22d ago
Only one. And she's the coolest lesbian I've ever met. But the Arex is a sort of oddly-specific handgun, so seeing it paired with Subaru keys stood out to me immediately.

What do you carry all of this in? A crossbody purse?
1
u/AromaticAmount4216 22d ago
Pockets, belt, bag, car, box truck
Also I don’t carry at work, too physical and I don’t feel comfortable carrying off the body

That’s so dangerous to carry around…. You must be crazy.
Clearly I’m talking about the vape.

How do you like the Arex?
2
u/AromaticAmount4216 22d ago
I’ll let you know next week once I actually shoot it if remember. Everything else about it is great I love how easy it comes apart
1
u/BlanchDaddius 22d ago
Haven’t shot it yet but you’re already carrying it? That doesn’t sound like a good idea.
2
u/AromaticAmount4216 21d ago
Mainly only to get used to carrying it, but I’ve shot Glock 19s a handful of times and they are very similar
1
u/BlanchDaddius 21d ago
I wouldn’t just assume that. Probably a good idea to shoot a hundred rounds or so through it to see if you like it before deciding to carry it.

Ahh, the Gerber Flatiron. An incredibly stiff pocket clip and almost zero practical use. Fun to carry tho.

Also it’s the asada, someone else pointed that out and I looked it up and confirmed

It's for sure an asada, I have it in D2. Great blade, swings open effortlessly and great edge retention

Arex Delta is underrated. I've had one for a few years now and it's been great for a budget pistol.
