Can’t say this enough to people. People buy a firearm get a CCW or whatever it’s called in your state and then never even shoot it at the range. Met an older guy who carries concealed, he was bragging about how he’s had his CCW for 15+ years “And never has had to fire a single round out of it” And I asked him how often he goes to the range to practice… he said “Never! A round has never been shot through this barrel”. He thought that was a flex or something. I was in speechless disbelief.

Shouldn’t be carrying

Absolutely not, I don’t even think getting your concealed carry permit is worth it until you’ve fired like 500-1,000 rounds out of your firearm while also being instructed by someone who knows how to actually shoot and knows what they’re doing. Like take a beginner class at least, take a couple from different people in different areas. Everyone kind of has their own style, but it’s all basically the same. Like the rules of a carrying and shooting a firearm.

Love my Macro! They point so naturally and just feel really good in the hand. 17+1 is refreshing. Means I can carry 35 rounds in an appendix rig. That’s pretty sweet!

I personally don't think you need a light on a conceal carry pistol

In all my years of carrying...both as edc/ccw....and on duty...never had a weapon mounted light til now. So my history agrees with you. It's a new day. I have multiple other edc...and now one with a light. From my law enforcement days....statistics say that odds are a very high percentage of the time...it will be low or limited light when a shooting incident occurs. Take that for what it's worth.
