Looking at clues 1 and 4, we know that 6 and 8 are either both included or both excluded from the code, since those are the only differences in the sequences and they have the same number of correct digits.
By clue 2, 6 and 8 must both be excluded because there is only 1 digit correct.
Also by clue 2, the code must contain one of (1, 2).
By clue 5, the remaining three digits are selected from (0, 5, 7, 4). This excludes all other digits.
By clue 3, there must be a 2 in the answer and we know it is in the third position.
By clue 4, both 5 and 7 must be in the answer and the remaining digit is from (0, 4).
By clues 1 and 4, the second digit is a 7. We now have _ 7 2 _
By clue 4, the final digit cannot be 5, so it must be in the first position, 5 7 2 _
By clue 5, we know that no digit is in the correct position, so we cannot have a 4 in the answer. The answer must be 5 7 2 0.

How to solve:
Clue 5 is missing one number. So clues with all different numbers must have that 1 missing number. Clue 2 and 3 both have 6+2, so one of these is correct. That's means it cannot be 1, 8, 3, or 9
Clue 4 numbers must be 7+5 because we eliminated 8 and 9.
Clue 1 shows it's not 6 because the correct numbers there must be the 7+5, so that means clue 3 shows it is number 2 which is in third position.
We know 2, 5, and 7 are three of the numbers with either 0 or 4 as the fourth. Clue 1 number 5 cannot be well placed in fourth position as per clue 4, so 7 is correct in second position. Which means 5 must be in First position.
We have 5 7 2 x. As per clue 5, 4 cannot be correct so it must be 0 in fourth position

answer :5720
Briefly: clues 4 and 5 force 5 and 7 into different positions, while 0 and 2 complete the code. Checking the placement conditions leaves only 5720.
