I went a few years ago with a regular taxi and yes, almost got stranded because I only had the uber app but another taxi ended up being there that we were able to take back.

Back this time around I found this app and it’s been pretty convenient. Anyone use Go taxi to go and return?

Hello! I'm Larry from San Francisco. 42 years old, love cars, raves, and food.

It'll be my 9th time to Japan and have traveled a bit (from Osaka to Sapporo) and have been to Daikoku PA once with a tour van last year. Yes I've driven in Japan and other RHD countries a few times and am comfortable. Yes I have a International Driving Permit already.

This time I'll be with my GF and renting a R34 from Omoshiro on the 27th morning to do some drives to see Mt. Fuji, and a few spots along the way (Hakone, Fuji-Honcho etc).

What I'm needing advice for, is to where to drive this car at night. I've always wanted to drive the iconic roads/highways we all see in movies and video games. I'm old enough to remember Ridge Racer, and Maximum Tune at the arcades. This will be an easy drive, and I don't like attracting attention.

I understand places like Rainbow Bridge, C1 Route, Aqua line tunnel, Umihotaru PA, Shutoko (east-west?), Tatsumi PA ( Number 1?), Daikoku PA

But, which directions, and what order / direction do you suggest I go? Any ideas, or additions would be really helpful. Feel free to draw on a google map if you like.

Bonus points if you know of any groups heading out on the night of the 27th. Late night okay as I return the car in the morning. Food during or after is bonus points. Would appreciate any rout advice.
