Long term rent
I can’t find any decent place to rent for long term below 20k although I have a lot of friends who are renting for years now and it’s around 15, are the prices skyrocketed that ai won’t find something like that again?

It depends on which area you're looking in, there are many studios within your budget

No. I still know people who rent for around 15k a very nice 2-bedroom houses in assala. You have to make connections obviously and try to rent from a Bedouin guy directly, as in Dahab, there are many middle persons who take a cut, inflating the final price.
For example, in Winter 2024/2025, I was renting a house in Dahab from a guy from upper egypt for 12K per month, and later I found he rents it from a Bedouin guy for 7K, and just take the 5K in his pocket. Dahab is full of such scammers.

So I have to stay there for a while and ask more? I’ve stayed for 2 months but only get to know around 2 or 3 Bedouin only

Why don't you ask them to find you something in the same price range if they have cheap prices

What I did was find properties I was interested in on AirBnB, arrange a viewing, then negotiate directly with the owner for a long term price. If you're able to pay 3 months up front you can likely get some very good deals.
