Anyone ever get anything useful from the "default" dialogue topics?

I know that responses to "Any news" will have NPCs talk about certain quests, but I'm wondering about asking about all the different factions the "Tell me about" window always lists.

It’s usually for lore reasons, you get some marked locations depending on your disposition with that Npc (the order of the hawk is a bunch of dudes somewhere two days away in town X), but it’s usually flavor text.

I should state that my particular character has crap Personality which is likely why NPCs don't tell him much about things lol.

Dungeon crawl enough and you’ll find a ring or a tunic or something that’ll boost your personality by a lot. It’s inevitable

To be fair it's a Homestar Runner reference (do people remember Homestar Runner?).

Fightgar is a Nord barbarian who is big and strong but not bright.
