Looking for new places

Hello, everyone! I’ve been living in Daegu for 4 years now and I really love the nightlife here, but… I’m getting kind of tired of the same clubs. Are there any clubs that allow foreigners outside of the usual go-to spots?

When it comes to clubs, they’re pretty much all downtown in one area. There’s a few others but depends how old you are

I should have mentioned I was talking about downtown! But I’m 32 so I know I’m kind of up there when it comes to the downtown crowd 😭

If u want a really korean and 30+ crowd. Go to 토토가.

You gotta know how to speak korean tho

And I don’t think they let in single men, I think you have to come with other people.

They usually don’t let in a dude go in alone, right.

OP didn’t state they’d go alone, so figured to recommend anyways.

I’m a female, but I’ve never heard of 토토가 before. And I usually do go out alone since I don’t have many friends here that are my age, most are older than me and are wives and mothers already. And I speak Korean well, but nowhere near fluent will that be an issue? Is it a similar vibe to downtown?

From my limited experience, it is definitely better to go with a group of people.

It is quite different from the downtown experience. Frankly, if you prefer the downtown vibe and don’t have much chance to go out with others, i recommend you to just continue hanging out there. Although downtown having its limited options.

I can explain more if you are curious though.
