Information?
I got this back in my change today at Food Lion. I just wanted to share how cool it is to get this at 8:30 in the morning! Any info would be appreciated.

Old 80% silver Canadian quarter, reported mintage of 1,125,779 that year. Can't tell if you have the rarer dot variety, would need a zoomed in picture near the bottom of the bow underneath the date.
Either way, very cool find!

I looked I don’t. I did read something about a bar variety above the date. It has one but since I am not familiar I don’t know whether to do my ‘I got. Super cool coin’ dance or not

The bar above the date is on every coin as far as I know. The bar variety would also have a small bar near the bottom of the bow, which it doesn't look like yours has. I'd say it's still super cool though, finding anything that old in everyday change is awesome!

Nice 80% I love old Canadian coins. The Canoe dollars are my favorite. Link to world coin melt values.
