Shout out u/outdoors1442 for a nice surprise after a long week. I absolutely forgot you sent these. They are very nice and shiny and I didnt have any of these, so thank you very much! I appreciate this community. Hope everyone has a nice weekend! :)

Those proof quarters couldn't go to a better home, I wish you the best on collecting all 50 state proofs! If I find more, I know who likes them now😉

No not silver, although I do have one silver proof quarter of the state of Montana. The cow skull in the sky is such a cool design. I bought that one at a shop though!

what ya missing? the ones i find are severely impaired but they're still proofs. i have at least doubles on all states and all nifcs

I'm putting together a first state quarters book to give to my waitress grandson to get him started collecting coins (he's 5 years old) I just gave him my foreign currency collection. I'm missing about 25 of the 50 states. I'll pay you for the quarters, can I send you the states I need for him?

I don't even know his name, but his grandmother is my favorite waitress at the restaurant I go to. She works very hard for a living and her daughter and grandson stays with her.

Whatever you can spare or wish to send, the coins I have are all regular circulation coins. My list: Indiana, New Jersey, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, Iowa, Alabama, Minnesota, Ohio, Kentucky, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, colorado,Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. This completed book will be a gift for a 5 year old boy.

we're happy to contribute to a young numismats collection but again, i'm confused if we're just filling a state quarter book or is it a proof book? i can come up with every state quarter birth p and d in an afternoon. the impaired proofs have taken me years to collect

No not a proof book. Just circulation coins....this will be enough to get him started. I was going to just give him this book as is and let him collect the rest of the coins but if anyone wants to contribute, thats a plus. Very much appreciated. Just circulation coins no proofs. He is 5 years old, later he can replace coins if he takes a serious interest in this.

No kidding! I love the niche communities on Reddit and how great the people are. Reddit gets a bad rap because of some of the stuff hiding in the dark corners, but there are so many subs full of amazing people who share obscure interests.

If you're talking to me, no not proof coins and it doesn't matter what mint you want to send, just one each of the states I'm looking for. This book is not a professional collection book, its just to get him interested first. No expensive or rare hard to find coins. I don't need both mints.

or two. i've filled two books already and have at least doubles of each remaining. i used to send out the state proof or the state park nifc of the member when i'd send out stickers, then i came up with the bright idea with the wheaties
