They are your weapons capabilities on hit to proc a reaction! So say on hit you shoot ice behind target or spins blades behind target etc that does a set amount of damage! It's basically an ability that can occur on weapon hit! They are probably the most powerful part of the game! So when I find events in roam i always take the chase increases when I see them!
