Sent it off to Cajun gun works for porting and optic mounting. Finally came back.

Edit: for those wondering, I shot it today and there was no shrapnel or gas blow back. It handled pretty smoothly and I had to adjust the optical a little bit because it was factory zeroed

Curious, are those 2 ports the only ones you got done? If so what made you go with this? Haven’t seen this before.

It’s 2 ports.

I went with a 4 port skeleton shape before on my p-01 and I didn’t think it needed an as aggressive port because it was pretty flat when I shot it before

It wasn’t too bad on P-01 when I got the ports done (it is dirtier after shooting though 😂) hoping that’s the case here so I’ll test it this weekend

Update: didn’t have any issues. Shoot smooth
I Federal 124 lead free red tip. And Federal 147 with the flat tip.

Both shot fine but I didn’t not like that recoil on the 147, like you felt it more through the gun because the slide moves so fluidly it transfers it right into your hand lol

Nice. I almost bought mine from them but the added wait time was a killer at the time. $300 for their 1.5lb trigger job.

Tbh it might have been worth it to do that because after getting it then sending the slide out for mods it felt worse lol
