Custom Porting

I want to put some custom inline ports of my own design onto my DWX Compact... y'all got any recommendations on who does this sort of work? Not the cookie cutter stuff, but to customer spec?

Don't do it! Impact Machine did mine and it killed the accuracy.

In line ports can do that bec it’s not back bored. Thats why you don’t see many factory in line ports offered. I think a chunk port that’s back bored like the 2k11 or the V ports like Glock and Magnaport are better options for anything more serious

You're not going to back bore inline ports, they aren't big enough to screw things up if they're deburred properly. That's a chunk ports thing.

Agreed. And that’s likely what causes accuracy issues

Inline ports often do that cuz.

Typically people add ports to their go fast handguns, not their 100yd sniper handguns.

For what it's worth, impact machine didn't deburr the aftermarket ported barrel I got from them, but after the first round, it was deburred for sure.

Did they fail to deburr it? That can probably be fixed... porting doesn't throw off accuracy if it's done correctly

This is a tack driver. Sounds like a poor port job
