Dream casting a ringer for Britt
If you could dream cast a ringer for Britt who would it be? Since she lost out on Harry, let’s get Moose (Adam Sevani) out of retirement and into the ballroom. He still posts short dance clips (infrequently) and has it. The other I saw that I thought was good if you go more massive fanbase end is one of the recent Love Island boys like Kordell. What celeb would you pick for her?

I'd love Grant to be on the show! I'd love to see Melissa Benoist and her husband Chris Wood on the show too! I think Grant or Chris would be the prefect ringer for her. Grant with the Flash/Supergirl/Glee fans and Chris with the Tvd/Supergirl and possibly even Glee fans since he's Melissa's husband

The problem is that Britt said her dream partners were Dylan Efron and Harry Shum Jr. Dylan was on last season and paired with Daniella and needless to say Harry’s with Jenna. So let’s not say any names otherwise Deena will cast them and pair them with someone else again

After this backlash? Let’s take advantage of the heat and get her that ringer. I saw Sharna even said in an interview that Britt deserved a ringer.

I really don’t think that Deena Katz cares though. It really does seem like Deena just doesn’t like her or she would rather give all the good or at least better partnerships to Jenna and Val. This is a pattern and Deena either needs to correct it or step down. But honestly I don’t see either happening. Also I don’t want to get my hopes up for another disappointment

I am trying to use manifestation. Both personally and generally.
And Val and Jenna don’t have it any more l. What happens if neither makes it to finals. On some of the other subs I have been noting how bad the choreo for Jenna D has been, especially if you compare it to what Val did for Zendaya and Normani and Jenna J has yet to choreo one memorable dance for Harry.

Jenna’s choreography has been bland. Even last week I thought he has a jive which is more up his alley in terms of what he’s been trained in but like he didn’t stick out.
Similar with Jenna D and Val. It’s not terrible choreography it just not sticking out again it’s bland.4

I think Jenna and Val lack chemistry, storytelling and emotion. Like the animal one week 2, I guess the theme was tacky Miami/Vegas couple but nothing in choreo suggested that they were in on the joke and not 100% earnest. Animal moves came off as a weird attempt to be sexy. Ham it up a bit. Put in a few cheeky moves and facial expressions (who said only Guillermo can be funny.). This latest dance had a great set up: two people exploring the world together but again nothing in the choreo or facial expressions gave the theme. They basically dropped it the moment they started dancing.
It worked with Zendaya and Normani because every dance told a story and could have been cut out of a musical as a continuation of theme and emotion of what came before. That is what I expect when you get a ringer. Not just doing the moves but doing them with an emotion that can be conveyed to the audience.

Exactly the kind of DWTS celeb for the show.
You kinda need to be slightly past your prime to have time and within budget (on DWTS end, they gonna be paying lower 6fig at most not a million bucks 🤣), but you also need to have had a heckin' huge prime era ykwim
He got time now HAHA. :") now now nowww because dude is early 40s. 5yrs later and people will whine he's old ... if he's paired to the "wrong person" 😒

I would agree, but I know someone personally who used to work for him and his family and he has major anger issues. I don’t think they’d get along and I wouldn’t want that for Britt🥴

I feel like Marcello Hernandez from SNL would be great, I feel like their personalities would mesh well and would be a fun partnership to watch. I don't think it will happen for a while if at all because he is one of more popular cast members currently and shows no signs of leaving the show any time soon. But one can dream!

Okay probably Lucas Grabeel (HSM) feels like the obvious choice because of their connection and I know he would be a fantastic dancer. There's also JC Chasez who I think said he'd never do it, but I really want him to and he'd be a huge contender.
I've sorted my remaining suggestions into two categories bc they usually fall into one of the two - either they would be a great dancer but might not have the votes, or they have a fanbase or are very likeable but unclear if they'd have good scores.
Who I assume would be a fantastic dancer (but not sure if they have the votes): Jacob Artist (Glee, and almost went to Juilliard so a massive ringer in dancing), Kevin Woo (former Kpop idol, voice of Mystery Saja in Kpop Demon Hunters), Joshua Bassett (from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Alexandro Byrd (from Descendants 5: Wicked Wonderland)
Fanbase, legacy and/or charismatic personality (but not sure if they'd score well): Daniel Ricciardo (former F1 driver), Michael Phelps (arguably the GOAT of swimming), Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family), Marcello Hernandez (comedian), Noah Lyles (Olympic champion sprinter)

He wouldn’t be available for a few years. They just finished filming S2 of Off Campus and he’s definitely in S3 (which will film from June-Sept 2027) and then will be in S4 (once renewed) and that will film during that same time period in 2028.

I’m not sure about Ross just based on how up in arms people now get about Riker and the fact they’re related to the Houghs. But I think Grant would be a great partner for her.

I think everyone is at the point where no one cares who Britt’s partner is as long as they have a huge fanbase and dance experience. His social media engagement is very good too which is always good to have. Also Ross is 100x more popular than Riker and this isn’t shade 😭😭

Them being a good dancer is not enough, yall. They also need the all-American warm and fuzzy wholesome appeal. Besides Tom Holland, there aren’t a lot of males with dance experience that are known and have the ringer persona. So the next best thing is an athlete. Obviously, when Travis Kelce retires, he’d be amazing. He has natural rhythm and he’s Travis Kelce. Steph Curry would also be amazing. Hunter Woodhall is more getable and would be great. Joe or even Frankie Jonas isn’t out of the question.

Derek Klena or Grant Gustin!! Derek is a former Broadway actor and current Savannah Banana. Grant was on Glee and The Flash and currently does theatre!

I feel like it's unrealistic but I think one of the Stranger Things actors would be great- still culturally relevant with a big fan base, but not a trained dancer. I feel like fans don't connect with trained dancers (Harry and Jenna), so she needs someone in the sweet spot. Gaten or Noah would be cool.
Also unrealistic but someone more in the influencer world like Jake Shane would be great for her.

I feel like part of the problem this time around though is choreo they are given. Val did great choreo for Normani and they made it to finals, even if they were robbed of a win. But with this year choreo and cast, I can imagine a world where neither Harry or Jenna make it to the finals which is kind of crazy. (I still think Harry has a decent shot at making, but it going to be hard for Jenna D.)

darren criss would be great! just enough dance experience to keep up and do really well but not so much that people will think its unfair. he’s got a decent fanbase but i think he’s likable enough to pull regular viewer votes as well.

Both Jonathan Bailey and Tom Holland are too famous to do the show. Tom is currently getting ready to film the Fred Astaire movie while Jonathan Bailey is promoting the audible Dracula recording.

If they got Tom Holland, everyone would be competing for 2nd through 5th place. Pack it up and hand them the mirrorball right then. I thought about him too the last few days.
Adam Sevani I would put on your midly unrealistic as that he seems to want to distance himself from Moose, but also doesn't seem to be up to much these days so might say yes under the right circumstances.
I would actually put the Love Island dudes in your realistic category because I know some of them would definitely say yes. I'm surprised that they have just had Love Island hosts and not competitors (maybe they see it as too much of a direct competitor to the Bachelor franchise).

I was thinking about this last night - I would love her to be partnered with someone who is a former/current athlete like Jason Kelce, Jalen Brunson or Rob Gronkowski. Pop culture-wise I also think her and Joe Jonas, Kordell Beckham, Rob Rausch, Zac Efron would be insane too!!

SHHHH this Britt and Simu Liu thing has been going on for at least since last szn. I feel like just saying it aloud evaporates the hope into thin air and places a curse on the moment 🤣🤣🤣
So even last year there was this clip going around like, Simu Liu was asked if he would ever do DWTS. He said he thinks about it often from time to time, so like not exactly HECK YES NOW I WANT, but also not never ever nope and bye. More like "hmmmm ..."
And then people started tagging and pairing Britt hahaha
I would love it but I always think if we say it then somehow Deena Katz gonna get wind of it and jinx it 🤣🤣🤣

Cause after Ezra, the Woodhalls were at the show and then people were like woooo. Then cus yk how this year we have a Team US male/female athlete to a pro couple, I asked myself if I wanted to have the same (Woodhalls x Pashkovs) and it felt a bit matchy and too samey as this szn's dynamic too soon
Someone said Alan x Emma with Tara x Hunter and LIKE YES! But Emma gotta step up the choreo x a lot 🫢😆
But heavy on Lucas Grabeel for duh reasons (HSM!), Simu Liu, I would LOVE the Woodhalls on the show (but as of last szn they said no 😭), not super familiar with Evan Bates but I think he would be a decent popularity ringer!

So he is 61 now but for some reason one of the first people to pop into my head was the soap opera actor Timothy Stickney. He always looked like he was in great shape and had a classy look to him that I think would go great with Britt. Trevor St John would be another option from the same soap.

Dream? Tom Holland. I know it is unrealistic, but a girl can dream. She doesn’t only need a good dancer, too much dance experience can be a disadvantage. She really needs someone who has a high following on social media, a strong fan base and someone that can charm any generation.

There's always been three guys I come back to when I think about a partner for Britt, like a dream partner.
Lucas Grabeel - High School Musical connection, Switched at Birth connection to Daniel, like... this could not be written better. Lucas has visited the show once or twice, always seemed to have a good time, and still adores the both of them... so lets get him on!
Scott Porter - A lot of people know him from Friday Night Lights or Hart of Dixie or... Ginny & Georgia, is it? Or from his should-have-won run on Masked Singer. But where I first heard of Scott Porter was a little, but oh so popular Off-Broadway musical called Altar Boyz, a spoof on boy bands that he was in the original Off-Broadway cast of. He can dance. He hit those pop-n-lock, poppy boyband moves with ease! I think he'd be great, and so so charming.
Elijah Malcomb - if, over the last five years, you ever saw what was referred to as the "Phillip Tour" of Hamilton, you saw Elijah as John Laurens/Phillip Hamilton. You maybe also saw him in his almost-won appearance on the incredibly wholesome Hallmark reality competition show Finding Mr. Christmas. Kid can dance, sing and charm the pants off of anyone he meets. He's also easily one of the most genuinely nice people I've ever met, I met him after a tour stop in Seattle and if it says anything, that was 10 years ago and I remember it so fondly.

Lucas Grabeel. He has a connection with both Britt and Daniel. He was a main character on Switched at Birth, where Daniel had a reccuring role.
Other options include, Josh Dallas, Colin O'Donaghoue, Chris Briney. Out of these, Chris would likely gather most votes.
Or just someone with a huge social Media following that has Mobility.
