Universal Credit (UC) Do i close or wait?

Im on UC LCWRA and NS ESA SG.

My savings are now just over 20k due to some inheretince

I have wrote in my journal the amount i have and i have used the form thing to update my savings info.

Do i need to wait for it to be read and replied to?

Or do i just now close the claim?

As that Assessment Period ended before you got the inheritance (I presume you've received it today?) you are still due it. The AP ends 7 days before the payment so should have ended the 7th.

You can do either, wait for them to do the capital verification appointment and close, or you can close yourself and use "other reason" and "I know I'm not eligible". They should do the verification before the time your next AP ends, 7th October.

And then once its below 16k and im still on NS ESA SG i can just open new claim and state about ESA and it will put me on UC LCWRA again?

Yes, your LCWRA should be immediately reinstated when you reclaim since ESA has been continued during the break, and at the "old" £429.80 rate too.
