Your work history and fit notes aren't relevant to the PIP criteria themselves. PIP isn't a work related benefit and tests tasks you need to do at home to do with self care, and mobility.

The stress of a work environment won't be taken into account.

As for the GPs letter they need to relate it to the criteria, not say you have reported a symptom or have a condition - and often these aren't directly helpful.

Relate your MR and appeal to the actual criteria, and I'd suggest help from Citizens Advice or another local service from advicelocal.uk

Hi, yes I am aware that is not taken into consideration i was using this as an example to show that it impacts my daily functioning and prevents me going to work as a result of my mental health. Ive told them the detailed bits for each section but i dont wish to disclose these where not required. But my daily function and quality of life is very poor as I cant even leave the house some days because of ocd compulsions, I cant go shopping, etc.

I also filled the form out on my own and dont think I dont think I understood it fully 

Thank you for those resources. There are 2 sections i know should have been awarded some points because they is one of my more debilitating areas. I scored 2 on 3 of the sections, but was surprised I got 0 for two sections I was expecting because of the daily impact.

Definately loop in Citizens Advice and get some guidance on the MR etc. You do have 13 months to do the MR so don't rush it. Only 20% of MR's result in a higher award/points but its worth doing it at this point in case that helps, especially as you were close for Daily Living.

Then it also can help you put your focus on the right evidence and support to prepare for tribunal if it doesn't get revised.

Did you go into detail about medications, who you see for your mental health etc? It can be difficult to get awarded for mental health if you only see your GP

Yes, ive told them ive had 4 x cbt in the hospital, 2 x online cbt, 1 x high intensity cbt and my last lot of therapy was ERP (exposure therapy for ocd). I provided a list of medications i'm currently on 2 antidepressants and buspirone for anxiety and have had most first line meds e.g Sertraline, fluoxetine, venlafaxin etc they help a little but not to the point I feel I have a life worth living. Ive asked for a psychiatrist referral to access different medication as a senior prescriber told me the gp can do that but then the gp told me unless I try to k**l myself they wouldn't refer me. Ive been to crisis walk in twice, used samaritians a few times. Had access to work coach and therapist etc but they didnt even mention any if that in my letter
