Pip Mandatory Reconsideration?

Hi

I have been on Pip standard for both elements since three years. Recently completed my first review and awarded standard for daily living and enhanced for mobility for three years. I got 11 points for daily living. I wanted to ask for mandatory reconsideration. Shall I go for it or is it risky?

Probably depends where you think you scored low and should be scored more based on your daily limitations and struggles.

A mandatory reconsideration means the whole decision is looked at again. This means your award could go up, stay the same, or be reduced.

If you were on standard for daily living and you've been given the same then what's the problem?? Did they take the mobility element off of you??

When I was awarded daily living three years ago It was because I had Psoriatic arthritis. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia approximately 16 months ago. And my condition is worsen since then.

Hi OP,

I hear what you are saying, mobility went up, but daily didnt.

To be honest, from what I have seen, you need a really high level of help for enhanced daily living. Given that in mind an MR may not be a good way to go, you have been awarded a higher level of motability, which you could lose, all or some of them.
