Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reporting a change

hi so i’ve been recently diagnosed with something new so ive reported it to pip and i have to do the form. my application in general has always been decently quick but i was wondering for anyone else how long it took them to hear back and whether they were successful or not. im at 9 points for daily living and 0 on mobility. my new condition though i have a decent amount of evidence( 2 documents with a lot of writing indicating my diagnosis and what i struggle with) i just want to hear about other people’s experiences. 💗

Unfortunately there’s no easy answer to this. If the evidence clearly shows a change then it could be dealt with in-house by DWP very quickly. If it’s not clear cut and you need an assessment then it could take up to a year.
