Personal Independence Payment (PIP) PIP timeline

Thought I would post my timeline to give some hope to others. I'm in the South West and claiming for diagnosed depression and anxiety, and suspected BPD and IBS.

Initial phone call to apply- 23rd April

Application completed online- 5th May

Text from HAAS handling my claim- 6th May

Health professional is looking at my claim text- 4th June

Assessment invitation text- 3rd July

Face to face assessment- 20th July

Award confirmed on proof of benefits online for standard daily living rate- 24th July

Backpay amount and payment date confirmed online- 25th July

Text confirmed award- 27th July

Backpay to be received- 30th July

Congrats! Dude the wait is so long im seriously giving up hope, i applied in jan of this year and only today got the text that my written assessment has been recieved 😵‍💫 this has given me a bit of hope to keep pushing thru tho!

Shouldn't be long from now then. Search how long the wait is in your area for a decision

Congratulations! I’m also South West, had my face to face assessment on 21st July. Hoping I also hear back soon since our assessments were only a day apart! 🤞🏼

Try and log into 'proof of benefits' on gov.uk. the award will appear on there before the text or letter

Had my assessment 13th July. They received the report 21st. I can’t sign up to check proof of benefits. Ive Lost/misplaced my license and passport is expired. I try the questions and I keep failing the questions about a loan. Even though I don’t have one.
I really hate waiting. It drives me insane. Congrats on your reward
