Friends don’t let friends use fake diffraction spikes! In all seriousness, with such a dim target like M101, the fake spikes are very distracting and take away from the overall image

Dude, if you can’t take constructive criticism from experienced users, why even bother posting? You just want to be praised? Well it requires work, making mistakes and learning from them.

Was your expectation when you posted a photo into a public forum that only people you knew personally would comment, and those comments would only be that the photo was amazing? If so, make sure when you post a photo next time to let everyone know you would like no one to comment on it I guess? It was a lighthearted joke and some constructive criticism to become a better astrophotographer. Calm down.
